Cherokee - Asgaya Gigagei
Asgaya Gigagei (The Red Man). This god of the Cherokees and so called because he is red in color and to the Cherokees signifies lightning. Long ago the Cherokee were peoples of the mountains, where great thunder clouds would gather in heavy folds and the thunder crash and red lightning would fork out like grabbing limbs of a powerful deity hidden in the rolling darkness of the heavy clouds.
